Situated on the corner of Hay and Milligan Street in the heart of the city, The Melbourne Hotel is Perth’s oldest and longest operating hotel in the CBD. Built in 1897 and after being recently renovated has become Perth’s newest understated 5-Star Luxury Hotel. Offering a variety of rooms with a choice of a heritage or contemporary experience, along with excellent amenities and a large selection of in house dining and drink options, The Melbourne Hotel is a destination for anyone who appreciates a touch of class.

Walking toward the corner of Hay and Milligan Street you will be met with The Melbourne Hotel’s beautifully vintage and grandiose façade built with inspiration from the opulence of the 1890’s gold rush. Recently renovated, the traditional structure has been restored with a contemporary and modern twist added, making it the beautiful mix of old and new it is today.

Inside, The Melbourne Hotel offers a variety of heritage or contemporary rooms for it’s guests to enjoy. All of which are accompanied by luxuries amenities including the in house spa and fitness centre. If you’re hungry or eager for a drink The Melbourne Hotel boasts a wide range of restaurants and bars for any type of occasion.

Named after it’s founder, the ‘Old Melbourne’ pub has been re-mastered. You can expect an up market traditional pub experience with great hearty food and a large selection of drinks. All to be enjoyed while watching your favourite live sports, perfect for after work drinks, catching up with mates and small events.

Lead by renowned resident chef Kwok Chan, the Grand Orient brings to you old world traditional Cantonese flavours using modern techniques. Enjoy the deluxe menu where the ingredients are always the star for lunch or dinner, in a private room, or you could just enjoy a cocktail at the Orient Bar.

Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King

The Melbourne Hotel is proud to host the first Keisuke in Australia. Keisuke Ramen is renowned throughout Asia and the biggest Ramen chain in Singapore. Another Japanese delight, The Melbourne Hotel and Hattendo brings to you the Japanese cream bun that begs for another bite! Conserved many old structures, very retro. Rooms is excellent filled with amenities including drip coffee and best of all a smart phone! Front desk went out of the way to serve our need! Never experienced such great service in my many travel abroad.
